1 < 3 is a photographic, video and performance involving OCAD University in Canada, Chung-Ang University in South Korea, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Finland. These collaborative works virtually interpret physical space, collapsing distances and addressing idiosyncrasies of communication across cultures. International Art Collaborations (INTAC) is dedicated to experimental art interactions between students.

The exhibition 1 < 3 features work by students from the OCAD University, the Chung-Ang University, and the Tampere University of Applied Sciences. 1 < 3 is produced by International Art Collaborations (INTAC), an initiative dedicated to developing student relations between art schools worldwide through experimental collaborations. The exhibition opens later on as part of the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival, Toronto.
The title of the exhibition can be read either as "1 is less than 3," or "I Love." Inverted, the equation reads "3 is greater than 1," which is the aim of this collaboration across institutions.
