To our Degree Programme in Media we welcome 24 new students:

Iiro Aunola, Carolin Büttner, Federico Di Rosa, Joel Forsman, Róbert Frankó, Sindy Tatiana Giraldo Saldarriaga, Ville Valtteri Hoikkala, Dylan Jones, Bo Kyung Kim, Maria Kirsilä, Iina Emmeliina Kuula, Markku Laskujärvi, Venla Linna, Jungsoo Moon, Teemu Norvasto, Josef Pacal, Yulia Pak, Elizaveta Potapkina, Ieva Suste, Noora Tolvanen, Riikka Uhmavaara, Yonathan Wolowelsky, Nian Hwei Wong.

Twelve ladies, twelve gentlemen, eleven Finns, thirteen international students, quite nice balance. Media Programme now have students from 27 countries, the new countries are Malaysia, Israel, Czech Republic and Columbia.

The competition was again really hard. Fifty out of fifty-seven participants of the entrance exam met the selection criteria and would have been admitted should we have more study places.

The autumn semester for our new students starts on August 14.
