Documentary Steam of Life, produced by former TAMK Art&Media student's company Oktober, has received international success again. It won the first prize at DocAviv festival in Israel. Before that the film was screened at Hot Docs in Toronto, North America's largest documentary festival. "The best sauna movie anyone's ever likely to see", commented film critic John Anderson in the Variety.

Diary of a Person with Asperger’s Syndrome is a documentary film written, directed and produced by Kristiina Lehto. She made this documentary, because Asperger's syndrome is present in her family. Kristiina wants to help people to understand what Asperger's syndrome is about. Every day person's with AS experience much injustice, because people don't understand their behaviour.

The ninth film produced by TAMK School of Art and Media which is shown on YLE channels in July is Hey Please!, Maiju Asikainen's graduation work.

Finnish national broadcasting company YLE Documentary Project shows on July 22 seven TAMK School of Art and Media documentaries with the title "Tulevaisuuden tekijät"(Makers of the Future) on channel 2.

A week ago I posted the story about Toni Edo, the former Interactive Media Programme student, been invited to Tampere Film Festival international competition with his film Family 068.

Yesterday I got a hilarious Facebook message from Toni Edo: "It's sauna time".
